Artist Statement:
This series is inspired by the artist’s experience of motherhood. The arrival of new life brought a deep emotional shift, influencing both subject matter and style.
Adorable baby animals—rabbits, tiger cubs—gaze gently from the canvas. Their translucent eyes and delicate fur are rendered with care and patience. Subtle details like cartoon scarves or pink dresses hint at a mother’s quiet love.
As the child grew, so did the artist’s vision. She began to explore the innocence and imagination of all young creatures. Elements from fairy tales and animated stories entered the work freely, and bright colors—soft pinks, playful blues—appeared without restraint.
